New EG4 Chargeverter V2

Im a programmer. Newer cars make extensive use of canbus and similar networks. When they work, they are great. When not they can be a pia.
Unless you have the software and tools to reflash modules, there is not much you can replace, controls wise.
Does my battery bms need to be able to communicate with my inverter? No. Does my inverter need internet access. No. Does my refrigerator need to phone home? No.
If EG4 needs remote access to my inverter, I have the wrong inverter.
And this

I'm going a step further.
All conductors will exit the bottom. (Cool side)
And screen will be rotated 90° for correct orientation.
Luckily the breaker is already correct.
Very interested to see how this works, vertical will be best for me as well, not sure how much work will be involved in rotating the display and/or controls.
Is there a teardown of the V1or V2(might be too early) online anywhere?

I actually thought of rotating the screen after I posted the photo above.
When I get some free time and everything else on the list has been done (yeah that will happen)...
Low, low, low prio ^^ :)

I have to do it when I get to that part of the build.
Otherwise it will never happen. lol

Doesn't look that hard for the V1 anyway, looks like there's enough slack in the control/display cable to allow it to go through a hole in the front panel, then you could easily mount it to a 3D-printed cover/mount that would rotate it 90 degrees. Now I'm looking forward to my V2 delivery even more!
