I'm trying to figure out who I'm going to buy my lifepo4 cells from. I've been watching YouTube videos and going to forums. Jenny wu with docan or Cassie wang with qinshou. Jenny wu is $74.5 for 16x 105ah cells US warehouse. and Cassie is $54 each for 130ah shipped from china. Does anyone have any advice or experience with these two or Alibaba in general? Also open to other suppliers looking to buy this week.

Be very cautious when ordering cells as it's all to easy to get taken. Docan has a decent reputation on this forum. Many alibaba/express are hit or miss, mostly miss. I went with 18650battery store. Their communication definitely needs work, but their service has been good.

I had someone send me pictures of new docan cells being swollen on arrival. I hate doing cell recommendations because sometimes they send out bad cells. Hard to know who to buy from.

Me and another forum member had a long back and forth on some cells I got some nice cells from docan back in march which seems to be up to specs but he showed a lot of postings of not so good results I think there was a lot of marginal cells shipped due to Covid, lack of product and quality control standards is my theory they just shipped whatever they had

Take a look at Current Connected. They sell both grade A & B Lifepo4 cells from USA. Have not bought cells from them before, but will be on my short list next time. Do a search for them on this forum and see why.

Thanks for the replies I have looked at those sites and did some other digging and I'm after the 160/172 cells they fit in my budget range and capacity I'm looking for. unfortunately no one in the US carries them.

I bought 32 eve 280AH cells in two batches from Cassie Wang split in 2 orders of 16 per order. They came well matched and have been performing well inside 2 Seplos Mason kits since Nov 2022. I paid $119 USD per cell including shipment to my home in Thailand.

I might have made a mistake... I started another but I figured I can comment on this one too.

I was initially sent to docanpower (Jenny Wu) but ended up on docantech (Jessie Qu) and am ready to make a purchase I would just like to verify that they are the same. docantech has not been around alibaba as long. I would just like to make sure I'm not about to buy from a copy scam page or something.

I looked at their website and it seems that all the batteries come from China and they are just reselling them, maybe the shipping time would be faster
Everyone is. That’s where every single LiFePo cell is made..at least the ones we can buy. Despite them being invented at the University of Texas.

Some sellers may provide better quality…you got EV grade, grade A, grade B, and used shot passed off as the others.

Grade A and B are kind of made up terms but but (ideally) denote cells not good enough to put in a vehicle but are good enough for home power storage.

Any aliexpress recomendation for 280-310Ah cells? I live in Australia and the only option I have is China. Thanks

Luyuan ships to Australia no problem. I would recommend getting the matched and batched genuine grade A 304 ONLY however, not the 280k or the grade B.
