Just purchased my complete hybrid system from Signature Solar. I've seen some of the reviews previously regarding customer service and warranty claims so I decided to make this thread for anyone to follow along if they're interested in also purchasing from Signature Solar. I'll be sure to include every detail, good and bad.

LOG START ?

Date: July 17th?
Order status: Paid | Ready to Ship
(So far customer service prior to purchase has been phenomenal. Chat support got to me in less than 2 minutes and was able to answer all of my questions, sometimes even getting in touch with tech support and following up with me.)

Date: July 21st
Order status: Backorder | Partial Ship
(Email came through stating status has changed to Backorder | Partial ship. On checking content of what was shipped it appears everything was shipped. Unsure of why it mentioned backorder and partial ship. Will contact customer service for confirmation.)

Date: July 26th
Order status: Backorder | Partial Ship
(Contacted customer service to confirm what was actually shipped. Was told none of my equipment was shipped due to backorder of battery racks. Not sure why I received an email stating items were shipped and I would receive tracking within 72 hours. Blessing and a curse as I do prefer everything to be shipped at one time for ease of freight forwarders.)

Date: August 2nd
Order status: Shipped
(Received an email today stating the entirety of the order was shipped. Should have tracking in a day or two for an update.)

Date: August 10th
Order Status: Delivered to Freight Forwarder
(Everything arrived, some very minor damage to the box containing the battery racks. Battery racks themselves seem to only have a few small scuffs, I'm sure these can buff) Images on page 3

Date: August 25th
Order Status: Delivered to home
(So far everything looks like it has arrived. I have yet to fully connect and check the products to see if they are in working condition. The only issues I have is that one cabinet came dented in on the rear, and since it's just sheet metal I plan to just pound it back out. Not going to hassle anyone over a dent. Other issue is the pallet containing the panels arrived broken. Hoping the panels are fine, will be checking this weekend for cracks and microcracks.)

Date: September 25th
Progress Status: Panels installed, Inverter installed, battery bank installed.
(Been nearly a month waiting for this install, had to get the work checked over by a separate company to ensure everything was proper. Should be fully online in a day or two when final checks are completed and the electrician signs off. Big shout out to @Luxpower_Gilbert for help in updating my inverter and enabling the features I required. I'll have pictures of everything when completed.)

And likely to forestall any issues that might have otherwise occurred.
Although, if true that volume is quite high compared to complaints, a sample of one isn't likely to expose any problems 1689642599265.png

I'm currently living a Signature Solar customer service nightmare but am letting it play out before I document it publically. Early view is my newly installed EG4 6500W hybrid inverter bricked with a Fault 09 error and 6 days later no response from level 2 tech support. Zero. Right now my off grid system has the reliability of the North Korean electrical grid. Thanks Signature Solar. Do better. Do your job.

More to come with exact and accurate details.

I made sure that my purchase was:
1) Paid with paypal
2) Paid with CC attached to paypal
3) Informed my Bank prior to purchase and got an extended warranty and purchase protection.
4) Created a Visa Benefits account and created certificates for purchase protection.

If for even the slightest issue I may have, my plan is to allow for one customer service resolution and if unsuccessful I shall start my refund process Paypal>CC(bank)>Visa.

I'm sorry you're not having the resolution you deserve. But if unsuccessful be sure so contact your bank issuer as well as the BBB and if so be it, you can submit a request in small claims court in their county. I hope it does not come to that but if you pay for a product, you should at least get a working product. Be sure to tag me when you document it publicly. So far my experience has been good, but I have yet to even receive my products.

No worries, mine is too. The darned thing won't go backwards or run at a normal speed.
You might/should be able to source server racks locally that would work just fine.
Unfortunely the island I reside is only about 14 miles long and does not have much in the way of anything lol Even the surrounding islands do not have much in regards to these types of hardware. But it is what it is. Can't put a price on living next to the sea I guess.

If lead time for that rack is too long ask them if they can source an alternative.

Do you have an expectation of when you’d want everything delivered? Knowing shipping is a huge unknown if you explain to them your expectations hopefully they can get creative and find a solution.

Good luck on your purchase. I have the Lifepower4 batteries and they seem fine so far. I hope they fixed the issue with the rack busbars.

So you are getting this shipped to a US freight forwarder address and they are shipping to you? The 18k is prob too new to tell reliability wise but how will you deal with warranty issues?

Looking forward to seeing further updates on your project. I'm international as well. Tell me, are you using 50Hz or 60Hz in your country? I'm 50Hz and the 18K PV inverter is supposed to accommodate for that. I'm hoping to have my 18K PV setup and connected to the house soon. Just finished mounting most of the panels.
