Signature solar horrible customer service

"Wanna pay have sex with my mother...... she is a virgin no kidding." Hahaha Customer loyalty is built on customer service.
sungoldpower is reported on a website as adding their own reviews. Use search engine. Who knows... Amazon reviews might not even go with the product. Lowes and Home Depot reviewers identify themselves as paid product reviews. Same as some ppl on youtube... if you get a free item then ppl need to know your review is bought

In addition to 3 free moon cake included in box and 2 week no hasselhoff warranty, Makehappyending brand inverter comes feature full including:

1) Extracted aluminum thermal management
2) Overcurrent reboost shutdown
3) Earth non electrify fault restart automatically
4) Current doubly when high fault load not present
5) Far away control standby luminair

And who can live without modified pure sine wave current so run all appliance no problem, am I right?

So what was your bad experience with us? The majority of the people on this forum that have negative things to say about us have never made a single purchase here.
Ben that is not true. The Majority of people who are making negative posts have bought stuff from you guys and then had a really bad experience afterwards. I am one of them!
The other percentage are people who are just tired of seeing the endless Signature Solar complaint posts.
I stopped looking at them for awhile, but this one caught my eye again because the title was so familiar.

He should should just go nuclear and tell everyone his last name is Dover.

"Signature solar, how may we help you?"

" I have a problem with the $189.00, 8000 watt AIO I bought from you last week, who am I speaking with?"

"I'm sorry about that Sir, Ben Dover, I can help you"
Maybe I am to dumb, I don't get it. ?

The original poster needs to try the EG4 Company Website if the official distributor Signature Solar is not helping. Their complaint needs to be logged with EG4.

Warning The VICTRON Company will ask you to talk with your local Victron- seller - person who sold you their inverter for anything and everything. Hmmmm they are not customer focused either. I have read many complaints about this online from ppl that had bought Victron online and the seller provided no customer service. Again you are on your own...... Victron and such are not so great either.

I owned a Mercedes once.... most unreliable - expensive - over rated car ever owned. The ppl over rating the Mercedes were often trying to sell their cars.

How do I decode this? Are you trying to say because something is cheaper than an alternative that it's ok if it doesn't have quality and can't function correctly despite how it was marketed and sold? Or since it was cheap/er the manufacture and vendor can peace out once they get a chump to buy it?

Isn't EG4 a SS in house brand, I think SS owns them...no?

Why do you think Schneider and Victron and whatever are almost double the price?

Are they ripping their customers off?

Cut me a break!
The Chinese make these Inverters for sale in China. They don't give a crap about English documentation.
Companies like Signature Solar see the low prices out of China and buy them for sale in the USA, so it then falls on their hands to make sure the customers are getting proper documentation and wiring schematics that are applicable to the US Grid system.
So in your world do you hold every single company that imports items for sale from China to the same standard and do you go to support forums for those products and raise hell in there too? I deal with high end expensive medical equipment from Leica in Germany and their manuals suck too because of a thing called "difficulties in translation" but I don't see Leica USA rewriting any of their documentation. It's impractical to expect a reseller to write new manuals for every item they sell. I guess you should go on a rampage against Amazon and demand that they write new manuals for every Chinese product that they import and sell since all of those items come with the same poorly translated manuals. Lets see how far you get with that!

I avoided the AIO'S because there is just no way.

I purchased an Epever CC, an Aims 3000 watt inverter, an RV 30 amp transfer switch and a Progressive Dynamics RV converter for charging.

This was more expensive than an AIO. They are not the "best" components by any means but if one breaks I can replace it and my idle draw is 12 watts

I decided to upgrade and am slowly collecting components. So far I have a 24/3000 multiplus and 24/12 converter.

Probably go with a 250/100 victron CC

And...wait for it. SS server rack batteries. Just

Actually, I was entrapping you to confirm your delusion..that because something is cheap/er it's ok for it to be a piece of shit.

Buy

You said it, not me.

Why do you think the EG4 costs less money than victron etc?

Why does a Toyota Camry cost more than Ford Taurus and and why would you buy the Ford over the Toyota?

There in lies a whole other piece of pie. All these ppl wanting a green planet need to complain - STOP these companies from making land fill throw away junk. Junk knife vs good knife is not a great deal of difference. Think about it. Old saying is a nickel difference. ?

Midnight Solar more or less put their name on what appears to be a couple of POWMR inverters and charge a lot more.
Hmmmm Victron is FOREIGN MADE. AS pointed out the Victron company refers you back to seller.... this is confirmed several post on internet. Why I did not buy a system from them. I prefer the old transformer tech.

Just silly.

You want the harbor freight predator 3000 watt inverter generator to perform and last as long long as the 3000 inverter honda.

It should operate just as smooth, start just as easy, be just as quiet, have the same longevity, parts availability and customer service you get from Honda.

I remember when Honda made junk. Throw away motorcycles. The screws would snap strip out.... junk metal. The saying was cheap "JAP JUNK."
Taiwan made cheap junk at one time same for Korea same will be said of China. All natural state of progression if they strive for quality

Japanese had Deming to thank for their quality

It's a different animal.

You can only cut corners so much until quality and durability and ease of use begin to become sacrificed.

These guys complaining need to man up and spend the dough on stuff they will be happy with and will perform to their liking.

Instead they want to facilitate the race to the bottom by purchasing the cheapest equipment possible without considering anything else.

You have a point on the manuals but IMHO this is because comapanies are not held to a higher standard. It should be mandatory that the manufactures produce coherent documentation for the markets they sell in and vendors should enforce it. Personally, I think a regulatory body should enforce this and I hate saying this as I despise government. In the case of integrating something into your homes electrical infrastructure it should be well documented...and frankly required to pass a QA/safety test like UL or something similar. Today we have AI...and just recently chatgpt was released. That could take a Chinese manual and rewrite it in good fluent English , not chinglish, in a second or two. If you haven't seen what they are doing with chatgpt check it out.

OP's issue was resolved today. This thread went sideways, but it made things happen. We actually were able to resolve a couple issues based on this thread.

I know it got a little sideways here but these threads end up being productive. They help me learn what problems people are seeing frequently and issues get addressed. Sometimes a little frustration can help us turn the corner in areas that need work. I appreciate both sides of these conversations because it really puts things into perspective. Without the orcs and trolls, Frodo would have had a real boring walk to Mordor.

SS came to be because our owner had the vision that everyone that wants to go solar should be able to reasonably afford to do so. That vision is never going to change, no matter how much noise is in the background.
